Presumed first edition w/NAP, stapled wraps, the book has light bumps to the spine ends and corners with a hint of creasing to the corners, sunning to the cover edges, mild rubbing to the covers with a thin blue smudge to the front, and thin cross creases to the spine. Otherwise, this is a solid, Near Very Good copy with an unmarked interior.

Shows the external features of the horse - knowledge of points is of great importance when registering an animal with the association. There is an illustration showing the muscles, others showing the organs and the skeleton. There is a detailed page showing the hoof and foot bones and three pages devoted to the teeth and determining age. Scarce. Information useful to all horseman with interest in any breed, not just the Quarter Horse. Illustrator not named.
