Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. 1st Edition. Foolscap8vo 144 p with a tinted lithograph frontispiece and coloured folding map. Original blue cloth with lettering and vignette in black on the upper cover and blind on the lower. The advert endpapers are present and the paper just cracked at the hinges, an owner's name has been carefully erased from the verso of the frontispiece but leaving the date, 16th September (18)89, beneath. There is a 3 inch repaired tear in the map at the gutter mainly in the blank margin and a third of an inch bleached spot on the lower cover otherwise this is a very nice clean copy of the scarce first edition with the bookseller's ticket of Norton, Cheltenham on the front pastedown. First edition.
