Work on fox hunting by Charles James Apperley (1777Ð1843), English sportsman and sporting writer, better known as Nimrod, the pseudonym under which he first contributed a series of articles to The Sporting Magazine around 1821. Very good, wear to spine edges; heavy foxing to frontis and title page, light foxing to plates. 19th century bookplate on front pastedown.
