A fine copy in red cloth, (tiny discreet bookseller's ticket to the rear pastedown), gilt titles to the spine in a bright, fresh pictorial dustwrapper with the Krouners' original older format Brodart tipped gently to the boards. Small 4to. 184 pp. Illustrated with 36 stunning colour and 650 black and white plates. With notes on each piece, their respective carvers, signatures and place in history.
