The plates for this printing were made from a copy of the original 1583 edition, belonging to the Herzog August Bibliothek, Wolfenbüttel, West Germany. Five hundred copies have been bound in füll leather and are numbered in Roman numerals I-D. Twenty-three hundred copies have been bound in quarter leather with Fabriano Roma rag paper and are numbered in Arabic numerals 1-2300. All were bound at the bindery of Weatherby-Woolnough, Wellingborough, England. This copy is number 1605.
