Fromer library book has slightly bumped corners, boards clean, wear to top and bottom of spine, and usual library markings including evidence of tape on the boards. Binding is strong, with all pages firmly attached, and pages are clean and unmarked aside from library markings. Hardcover. Etat : Good. Hardcover in dust jacket, 10 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches, unpaginated about 1/4 inch thick. First edition with letter A on title page. Insribed by author on half title page, "For Fred Castellon with best wishes Norman Bate". Jacket, which I have palsced in a clear mylar protector, has some slight wear to spine ends. Binding has slight to minimal wear with one corner slightly bumped. Pages are clean. Castellon was, among his other artistic achievements, an illustrator of children's books.

No Binding. Etat : Good. No Jacket. A typed manuscript with notations in the margins and on some of pages with pencil corrections of the typed manuscript. The manuscript starts at page three but the title page could be page 2? Not sure if all the pages are here but I believe so, the gaps in the page numbers could be un numbered illustrations. The last numbered page is 48. There are 8 typed pages with several pages of the childrens book typed onto one page The text work for the title page with paste downs and dated 1954 is also included.
