Etat : Fair. 1962. First Edition. 189 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Colour illustrated dust jacket over blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to gutters. Front endpaper is missing, back endpaper and following page are missing pieces. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Thumb marking present. Occasional foxing. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Very fragile. Tanning to spine and edges.

The book has a little spine lean and a light bump to the head of the spine. A few slight soil specks to the upper fore edges - the textblock remains clean and tight. Dust wrapper not price clipped with light shelf wear. There are three short tears of no more than 0.5 cm from the wrapper edges, now expertly repaired with some associated light creasing. Light rubbing to the corners of the wrapper at the head and tail of the spine. No loss. A very good copy.
