This is a thin hardcover book with 63 pages including many silhouette style illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1939 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The price has been clipped from the DJ flap. The back DJ flap has a fold in it. The dust jacket is also in great shape with a short (one-inch) closed tear on the top of the front (No Chips). I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!.

Full page color illustrations are really cute, the pages are clean and unmarked. I don't see this book come up very often. A sticker of the former owner stuck to the bottom of the inside front cover. A puncture hole on the front board the size of the head of a straight pin, not real obvious, its in a green bush to the far left of the front board.
