Folio Hardcover. Etat : Good. 229pp. Black boards, black leather spine and corners, golden lettering on spine and front board. Text is clean on unmarked, uncreased pages. Hinges are intact with some separation, textblock is square with pointed corners, gilt edges. Moderate++ overall shelf/timewear, boardwear, heavy board corner and edge abrading, exterior spine chipping, small seam chairs at spine foot, light foxing on inner boards and endpapers, PO bookplate on inner front.

Some spotting and toning to prelims but this has not spread . Crack to front hinge, but binding remains tight. Well illustrated throughout mostly from contemporary sketches selected, arranged an annotated by Edward H Fitchew. More photographs available on request. All proceeds of sale go to LOROS, a Hospice Charity serving Leicestershire and Rutland.

Publishers Illustrated Covers. Etat : Good +. Undated but circa 1900. Large format illustrated book with blue cloth decorated in black and gilt. The preface states that the work was read in proof by Earl Nelson and by Mrs Nelson Ward who placed at the authors disposal her transcripts of many unpublished letters. 232 pages, profousely illustrated. Spine ends lightly rubbed, bottom corner of lower board nibbled. Faint water stain to bottom corner of last ten pages, not obtrusive. Size: 330x250mm.
