Small tear top and bottom spine. Rubbed on spine + corners. Internally staples beginning to rust but no bleeding, slight freckles central seam, but minor. Otherwise clean, little wear, binding firm, good colour. Overall good minus condition due to cover.

The NTL succeeded the Leftist organization League of Workers' Theatres and around this time consolidated into People's Theatre. Its workshops used the Stanislavsky Method and they produced "The Cradle Will Rock" by Blitzstein. Only four holdings located in OCLC as of 2/2023.

Else, Very Good: The LPs have been played but are in Very Good condition; the Paperback Texts are in Very Good+ condition, showing only light wear to the extremities; the Envelope sleeves are in Near Fine condition, showing only very minor flaws. All housed in a maroon heavy card carrying case, which is also in Good condition, showing fairly heavy rubbing to the corner tips and torn at two hinges and tape repairs. Overall, Very Good. Set of Five oversize Paperback Volumes [Othello, King Lear, Antony and Cleopatra, Macbeth]. Each Volume is accompanied by a matching Audio Long Play Record. They include performances by Ralph Richardson, Coral Browne, Barbara Jefford, Michael Redgrave, Vivien Leigh, Peter Finch, Donald Wolfit, Rosalind Iden, and Sir John Gielgud. There are two versions of each play. The acting version follows the recording and the Living Shakespeare text is based on the bard's earliest reliable printed text. All contained in a maroon heavy card carrying case. There is considerable interest here as we are not aware of the play recordings being available in any other format.
