The monument inscriptions were transcribed in this text by the Irish Anglican priest and historian Beaver Henry Blacker. Whilst he is best noted for his numerous contributions to the 'Dictionary of National Biography', Blacker also published notable works on Gloucestershire, including his 'Gloucestershire Notes and Queries', and this text. 'Monumental Inscriptions in the Parish Church of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire'. With original wraps bound in. This text was privately printed. In a cloth binding. Externally, sound with damp staining and bumping to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with some spotting and handling marks. Ink signature to front wrap. Good. book.
