Hardcover. Etat : Fair. No Jacket. This is the 1914 printing, NOT a modern reprint. Light wear to the binding. No distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving. Previous owner lined the spine and the leading edges of both boards with clear tape. This appears to be an effort to protect the book from further wear.Pages are tight but there is extensive marginalia, notations, underlining in red and black pencil. The previous owner really engaged this text. No name of the previous owner. No odor. Faint damp stains to the front and rear boards. No sun fading. Please regard this as a reading/research/reference copy.
