Soft cover. Etat : Fair. Text in German. Title translated roughly is "umbrellaed and unembrellaed," in other words, with umbrella and without umbrella. This refers to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain's habit of carrying his umbrella wherever he went during the political build-up toward the Second World War. This is a book of worldwide journalistic cartoons basically making fun of Chamberlain's efforts in accomplishing the ethereal "peace in our time." Unfortunately, a previous owner has written a few words in ink on the front cover, and the title page has been torn out. It is an interesting bit of Nazi propaganda, possibly created by Goebbels. Covers discolored by age, page edges turning yellow-brown in same process. There are no other deliberate marks on or in the booklet. Unpaginated and about 65 pages.
