Cloth. Etat : Good. First Edition. Ths book s not only a "guide" to Normandy. It is a picture-book with, we trust, a text that will explain and expose Normandy to the vsitor and to the prospective visitr as well as to those who want to learn something of the foreign land that is nearest to our own. No attempt has been made to include every hamlet and village in Normandy. What we have sought to do is to note every place of interest, leaving aside towns or villages tht are merely bathing-beaches or tourists resorts, although some reference is made to the more important or the better knwn of these. In this manner we have been able to offer a picture of Normandy that is, we think, wel balanced as well as, we hope, entertaining. Illustrated. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Foxing to edge pages. Some fading to cloth.
