Etat : Fair. 1930. No Edition Remarks. 234 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with colour illustrated plates throughout. Heavy tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Rough cut edges to text block and visible thumb-marking present. There is cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Boards have moderate rubbing and edge wear with visible bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and rubbing to spine.

Black and white photographic plates. Noticeable thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has minor tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

Decent clean firm interior for the age with only one or two very slight age marks, contains a b&w f/p photo of the author, inscription to front e/paper, does show some age/shelfwear with a very rough-cut edge to pages, p.221 chipped to edge of border, 223 has uncut/rough border, page block dulled/toned, toned to e/papers, boards have rubs to coth at corners and slightly to spine tips, a few speck marks to rear but decent appearance mostly with bright gilt-lettering to spine and small picture to front, all tight and firm./.

Corners a bit rubbed. Clean, bright, and sound.
