Signed on the flyleaf and inscribed to Rudy Blesh (music historian) with a small line drawing and (as best we can decipher) "To dearest friend of our Art, and great connoisseur of Music and specially busy in great field of the Ocean of the Primitive M., with admiration of Heart and Flesh, Love Davy and Marussid Burliuk." Also an accompanying illustration of a similar type with inscription to 'Tigerudi" on the endpaper. Small quarto, 10 1/4? tall, 182 pages with intertextual black and white illustrations, decorative red cloth. A very good, sturdy hard cover with moderate shelf wear and minor exterior soiling, rubbed at the corners; binding solid, paper lightly yellowed, with some soiling to the top fore-edge.
