Hardcover. Etat : Poor. Turner E. Smith and Company. 1936. Atlanta, GA. Hardcover. Mid-size. Book is very worn, including the front and back covers not being aligned (one rises a little higher than the other - a cocked spine in book parlance). The front free endpaper has a stamped notation from a high school, indicating that it was a former library book (no other library markings). It has that 'old book smell.' However, all pages are intact, and there is no writing anywhere in the book. This 1936 edition (likely a first) is very uncommon. Most available editions have a later publishing date and have over a hundred fewer pages. Well-illustrated with black and white photographs. Indexed. 720 pages. Securely packed in a lidded box.

Hardcover. Etat : Good. This vintage 1947 book is a basic text for students interested in vocational agriculture. (It includes livestock farming enterprises and their operation, the importance of livestock incorporation on every farm, biographies of leaders in the livestock industry, etc.) Most of the pages are clean and unmarked but some do have pen and/or pencil marks. A couple of pages have been torn & re-taped but all the pages are included and readable. All the pages have tanned with age. B&W photos and illustrations compliment the text. The paste-downs and the front fly sheet have markings. The back paste-down and fly sheet are torn at the bottom and worn. Dark blue lettering and decorative art adorn the front blue cloth board and spine. The boards are faded and the edges, corners and spine are frayed. The binding is still tight and the spine is strong and square (not slanted/cocked). Overall a solid copy. FAST SHIPPING & FREE TRACKING!.
