Previous owners name to top of title page. Newspaper cuttings have been affixed to front and rear endpapers, the verso of the frontis and the title page and the blank pages before the rear endpapers. They appear to comprise an address delivered in 1895 entitled Pitmen and Keelmen. There are also at least two small newspaper clippings pasted into the text of the book and several margin notes - most of which refer to buildings which were demolished in 1896. Two small splits to spine, top of spine worn, rubbed to edges. Clean sound and readable but externally only G.
