Titel, Goldschnitt, Vorsatzblätter teilweise etwas braunfleckig, sonst gute Erhaltung. Volker Barth schreibt in seinem 2007 erschienen Buch " Mensch versus Welt. Die Pariser Weltausstellung von 1867": "diese Weltausstellung und die ihr nachfolgenden machten Paris zur Hauptstadt des 19. Jahrhunderts. Die vierte Weltausstellung wurde an jedem der 217 Ausstellungstage von 50000 Menschen besucht, um zu bestaunen, was 52000 Aussteller aus 49 Ländern zu zeigen hatten. Die Vielzahl der Produkte gab der Diskussion um ein internationales Patentrecht wichtige Impulse. Zu den Attraktionen zählten ein Aufzug, der Heißluftballon des Fotografen Nadar, zudem wurde eines der wichtigsten Bauvorhaben des 19.
