Pages are clean and unmarked. Small tear along bottom of left (folded) edge, but cover still intact. Cover lightly scuffed, and has black discoloration on right hand side. Softcover. Etat : Good+. Stapled, white, pink and black wraps with photo of Cowboy Copas and titles in black and white, Some edge , corner and surface wear. Spine has a couple of longish slits but is still together, though care needs to be taken. Some light interior aging. ; B&W Photographs, Musical Notation; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 32 pages; Cowboy Copas was killed in the plane crash that also took the lives of Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins. He was a well-known country star of the 1940's and 50's. This songbook is not dated but 1947 is the date on a number of the songs.

Softcover. Etat : Very Good. First Edition. 33pages, portrait and six illustrations from photographs. Inside the cover is a summary of Copas's career to 1947. Contains words and music to 15 songs written or co-written by Cowboy Copas, including: Are You Honest; Dolly Dear; If I Bring Home The Bacon; My Blues Are Gone; Night Plane To Memphis; and ten more. In the original pictorial covers, 12" x 9" Cowboy Copas (1913-1963) was born Lloyd Estel Copas in Muskogee, Oklahoma. During his career, he appeared on more than 200 radio stations as well as the Grand Ole Opry, and recorded many songs. Copas was killed in the same plane crash that took the life of Patsy Cline.
