Not price clipped (10/-), no other inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 211pp, illustrated. A collection of stories about India by Oswald Jennings Couldrey (1882-1958), artist, poet and author. Couldrey entered the Indian Civil Service just after WW1 and went on to establish the Andhra School of Indian Arts and guided several Telugu artists and poets such as Damerla Rama Rao, Adivi Bapiraju and Kavikondala Venkata Rao.
