Large 8vo. pp. [1], ii, [8], 378, [6, index]; illustrations. Full contemporary calf, rubbed and inner joint pulling otherwise Very Good. From the library of R.W. [Rod] Ambler. All books from this collection have his name, followed by the place and date of purchase in ink on the end paper. An interesting letter from the author is tipped in which gives important information on the authorship of this work. "The Reverend Richard Yerburgh was the compiler and perhaps may be said to be the writer. It was entirely a speculation of my own. I collected what materials I could and gave them to the Dr's hands to arrange, edit etc - which he very kindly and gratuitously did.".
