Hardback. Printed pages: 253. Etat : Very Good. 1st Edition. Scarce first printing, with ads at rear listing Fisher's Scrap Books for 1846. Red cloth binding, slightly strained at p92 but securely bound. Illustrated in gilt to front board and spine. All page edges gilt. Slight wear to ends of spine, short split to head of spine. Gift inscription to front free endpaper dated December 1845. Rear endpaper has slight cracking to joint and light staining edges. Hand-coloured frontis plus three further hand-coloured plates, all by Cruikshank. Small stain to lower edge of frontis, very clean text throughout. A charming early Victorian Christmas book. Overall condition is Very Good. Size: 4.5 x 6.5 inches (11 x 16.5 cm).

Some modest finger soil to the covers and a small spot to the rear cover, good hinges, sound text block, some darkening and modest foxing to the plates, pages clean, no names or other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
