Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. First American edition from English sheets. A good only copy with some tidemarks at the top margins, and a soiled spine label, lacking the dustwrapper. Actress Eva Le Gallienne's copy with her bookplate on the front pastedown. Daughter of the poet Richard Le Gallienne, Eva was a distinguished actress, producer, and director. She founded the Civic Repertory Theatre in New York in the 1920s. In 1964 she was presented with a special Tony Award celebrating her 50th year as an actress and honoring her work with the National Repertory Theatre. In 1977 she won a Theatre World Special Award, and in 1986 she received the National Medal of Arts.

The recipient was Victor Steghel.A story about the man who brought the great news of the fleet's victory and of Nelson's death in 1805.
