No Jacket. 1st ed. f/piece (Frazer photo)+xv+304; faint traces of pencilling top front endpaper, which also has athiun diagonal crease, very faint brown flecking to half-title, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked; covers clean but spine and 3.5 cm strip across top front faded, a number of thin surface scratches across bottom 4 cms of same, without which would rated as VG-. An interesting collection of talks on anthropology, mythology, proverbs, early religion and kinship - 'divers hands' includes, among others, Malinowski, Marett, Haddon, Arthur Evans and Arthur Keith.
