This is a CLASSIC of Americana, being the true story, ,as originally written in 1894, of Grouard, a Scout who was captured by the Sioux Indians, and lived with them for 7 years. He thus, knew more about their ways & language than any other Scout, and that served him well, when he scouted for General Crook, and the U.S. Army.The book is unmarked and VERY GOOD +. The jacket rates Very Good minus. It is fully intact, but shows usual edge & corner wear.
