Fair condition. Beautifully illustrated, many are in color, some wear but pages are intact and look very nice. Book reads: Rome was once a wilderness. Wild animals wandered freely about it. A wolf was said to have found two little boys who were brothers and mothered them until they were old enough to find food for themselves. When the boys grew up they farmed the land on which the city now stands. From a sheepfold it grew into a town, from a town into a walled city, then to a little nation, a kingdom and an empire. Then from the Holy Land came Saint Peter, the first Pope. He settled in rome and ruled over the Church. Bad men put him to death as they had done to Our Lord, another was chosen to take his place, etc. Book has lots of full page illustrations. Formato: [60] p., 22x26 cm, m.t. Fair condition.
