One page. 1 vols. 4to. One page. 1 vols. 4to. ON THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION TO A WRITER. Responding to a question about the importance of his high school education and asking whether the college experience was necessary in creative writing. Granberry writes that high school "was of supreme importance" but college not necessarily vital continuing "Statistic would show, however, that most successful writers have had some college training. The best advice you can give students is that you learn to write by writing -every day. And that you can not write convincingly until you learn to handle the English language.Master prose writer seldom write 'by ear.' They know exactly what they are doing, even when they write unconventionally." He enquires how Hartley came to know of "The Falcon".
