Minor issues present such as mild crinkling and mild tanning. Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning causing discolouration. Gilt lettering is darkened. There is bumping to corners. Book has a slight forward lean. Fraying to cloth at spine head.

Seven maps, of which three are foldouts. 24 page advertising section to end, with directory, which contain the only images in the volume (except maps). Condition notes: A worn and well-loved copy: general wear and rubbing to boards, lacks dustjacket; gilt lettering dulled. Spine slightly cocked, spine ends rolled, corners bumped. Discreet gift inscription to ffep. Hinge separating at title page. Pages generally tanned, but clean, a few scattered pencil notes; several page corner turn-downs. Folded maps intact if a bit tattered from use. A serviceable relic of the interwar period. We personally inspect every book we offer.
