This hardcover book without dust jacket (if issued) appears to be a First Edition; (there is an owner's inscription dated Dec. 5, 1935 on the page adjacent the inside cover) yet no publication information is stated, other than the publisher, E. P. Dutton & Company. The 296 pages of text, and the ten full page black and white portrait plates, are complete, clean and unmarked, and securely attached. It is not an ex-library copy. There is a tiny book store sticker on the front inside cover. The red cloth hard board covers and spine have virtually no mentionable wear or tear; while there is a light touch of fading to the spine, and faint indication of shelf dust rubbing. The condition rating of "good" is in consideration of there being no jacket. Ships by the next day.
