Etat : Good. 1934. 105 pages. Beige pictorial dust jacket over red cloth. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

Aldin's name is misspelled "Alden" on the cover label. 25 long poems about hunting, hounds and terriers, ploughing, country ways, a huntsman's alphabet, etc. "A Sportman's Prayer" pleads, "Give me a girl who." can cook and sew, will love my dogs, can ride a horse, sew on my buttons and darn my socks, and more of the same. Somehow overlooked in M.L. Biscotti's bibliography of foxhunting books. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate. Good (front cover rubbed, scattered foxing to outer pages).
