A large single sheet measuring 18" by 9" and folded twice to form six printed pages with each page measuring 6" by 9". The complete church service program for Sunday, April 13th, 1930 (Morning Worship and Evening Service) as well as a list of "Union Holy Week Services"; "Announcements For The Week"; "Olivet To Calvary" (a choral performance for the Evening Service, with two pages of the program containing recitative and vocal verses). The front cover indicates "Westminster Presbyterian Church" with location, date of service, list of ministers and officers as well as "Our Missionaries" and "Westminster Members on the Mission Field." Cover detached but present with periodic short closed edge tears, a few small edge chips (all to blank margins).

Lightly folded once.

Offered is an original Church publication entitled (reading from the title page): "Historical Roll of the First Presbyterian Church of Scranton, PA [Pennsylvania] From Oct. 14, 1848 to Oct. 14, 1873" (the Pastor at the time was the Rev. S. C. Logan, D.D.) printed in 1873 by the Republican Steam Printing-House and Book-Bindery. With a light violet front cover, a softcover containing 54 internal pages with text, not including several blank pages. The document contains an Historical Statement (early history, with lists of Pastors and Ruling Elders), and lengthy Historical Roll of both deceased and living church members with periodic genealogical and historical notes (i.e., "Sang in the choir until her death"; "Married William Tooth, Dec. 1, 1870"; "Left in Disgrace 1870"; "Ruling Elder from May 31, 1857"; "Had been suspended for intemperance"; "Architect of the church and parsonage"; etc.) and Infant Membership (containing the name, date baptized, baptized by whom, and parents' names). Condition: blank rear cover missing; covers light to moderately soiled in places; covers show tiny to small corner chips; periodic small chips and short closed tears along outer narrow spine; still a sound copy of a rare title.

The publication measures 5-3/4" by nearly 8-7/8" and contains 56 pages including front and rear covers. The pastors, as printed on the title page, were J.D. Mitchell, J.F. Baker, M.J. Hickok, and S.C. Logan. Contents include: The Time and Occasion; program for Morning and Evening services; lengthy Memorial Sermon by S. C. Logan, D.D.; lengthy Minutes of the Memorial Meeting. Condition: 4-1/2" closed tear along outer narrow spine; in light to moderately soiled covers showing a few small light moisture spots; the interior pages are in excellent condition. A rare historical Church publication.
