A liturgical book published by Wilhelm Florentin von Salm-Salm (1745-1810), the Archbishop of Tournai and, after the French Revolution, a well-known Archbishop of Prague. The book contains texts of various rites (with many music scores): eucharist, baptism, marriage, confession, extreme unction, office of the dead, absolution of heresy, exorcism etc. Two related letters are also included. Antiqua typesetting; pages are decorated with many tailpieces; the first page is decorated with a copper engraving. /// Contemporary leather binding with gilt title and ornament; hardback, [8]+[24]+501+[5] pp., 4° (21 x 27.5 cm), leather cover slightly worn and rubbed, with small cracks along backstrip, endpapers faded, yellowed and slightly stained, front free endpaper has owner's signature written with pen (18th or 19th century), ca. 10 leaves worn and foxed/yellowed, with a few small stains (chips fixed by bookbinder), ca. 10 leaves slightly foxed, other pages clean or only slightly yellowed, spine slightly cracked (but binding still tight), condition: good Book Language/s: Latin.
