Octavo (19.5cm); orange cloth, with titling and ruled border stamped in black on spine and front cover; dustjacket; [iv],266,[2]pp. Light wear to extremities, text edges slighly dusty with scattered foxing, with gentle sunning to base of spine and light offsetting to endpapers; Very Good+. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced 7/6 net), lightly shelfworn and gently spine-sunned, with several short tears, a few shallow losses at spine ends, and some grubbiness to rear panel; Very Good or better. Provenance: From the collection of Spectrum of Fantasy author George Locke. "A group of immortals survive the sinking of Atlantis and live until the present day, witnessing many significant events in world history" (Barron 3-142. Fantasy Literature: A Reader's Guide). An elusive lost-race novel, particularly in dustjacket. OCLC notes a scant 12 holdings - only half of these in the U.S. Locke (A Spectrum of Fantasy, Vol.1), p.86.
