Illustrated. "A vivid narrative of the first years of the Bolshevik regime.This book is taken from the notebooks of two investigators for the American Relief Administration" (from the blurb). The authors worked for the A.R.A. from 1921 to 1923. A few stray scuff marks to the binding. The jacket is edgeworn along the top edge with many closed tears and a few chips along the same. A few small chips along the bottom edge of the jacket. No previous ownership inscriptions. Quite scarce in the original jacket. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
