Famous, illustrated by Hazel Frazee (2 color frontisipiece plus black & white pictures), published by Whitman copyright 1917-the date 1943 is written in ink on back of frontispiece. Hardback 123 page green book with full color picture on front (same picture as frontispiece) shows edge wear, fep and frontispiece have frayed edges, some top layer paper is missing from fep, there is a bookplate inside front cover, a light crayon stain on illustration list, and a child-made library card holder inside back cover, and has had glue added to spine area. Nevertheless this little book is overall in good condition-no dj. Children fiction animal animals rabbit.

Creased at top edge of final end paper, final page somewhat loose but still attached. Slight surface wear to bottom tips, spine bottom edge, and bottom back tip. Near Good.

Hardcover. Etat : Fair. Hardcover. Gray cloth over boards with black lettering and color plate on front cover. Title page not dated. Copyright page dated 1916. 105 pages, as well as about ten pages of "Queen Jelly Bean's Candy Receipts". In fair condition. Cloth is worn along edges of cover, exposing boards at corners. The cloth is missing from the bottom 2 inches of the spine The remainder of the spine is attached only along the front hinge, exposing the netting underneath. Though there are a few small scuffs and scratches, the front cover lettering and illustration are mostly clean and sharp. Binding is loose, front and back endpapers split along the gutter. Neat inscription on front flyleaf. Pages are a bit smudged in places, but overall free of tears or folds. Vintage children's book is overall fairly worn, but charming. Frontispiece features color illustration of a boy and a fairy. Several other brightly colored illustrations featured throughout.
