Front free endpage is torn off at corner, affecting the color plate on reverse side. The other color plates are intact, but several text pages have tears in them and one black-and-white illustration has a child's pencil scribble on it. There is a small dark spot on the bottom of several pages, not affecting text or pictures. Boards are tanned at edges. For all its flaws, it is still a lovely book--a reading copy with lovely artwork. Decorative endpapers. Folio. 47 pp. I.
