Text in French Contains the texts of 64 individual documents, dated from 1766 to 1768. bound in at rear is an additional 6 handwritten leaves (various sizes, folded to uniform small octavo size), in unidentified holograph late 18th-century hand, detailing supplementary relevant material (a letter addressed by Pierre de Buisson Beauteville (dated June 1767), who mediated in 1766 in Geneva between the between the elitists council and populist citizens; a three page list of names (representives?); a two page letter addressed 'De Par Le Roi' by Jules Charles Henri de Clermont-Tonnerre, and dated January 1767 (all material relates to the 1730's Tamponment affair, regarding taxes and representation).Bound in full light tan paper boards, flecked dark brown, with holograph inked paper spine label, plain endpapers, all edges trimmed. Slight wear and rubbing to spine, spine label and covers mainly at extremities)=; slight rubbing and browning to covers; slight bumping to corners.
