Hard Cover. Etat : Very Good binding. First Edition. A relatively attractive copy of this units history. Bud Robertson in the Military Aspects--Soldier's Life section of Nevin's bibliography, find this to be "a disappointing unit history" in which "too much space is devoted to quotations from other sources" [Nevins I, 136]. With some wear to the extremities of the boards, and some apparent gluing of the spine and front hinge at some previous time. It is from the library of Civil War historian James I. "Bud" Robertson, and has his bookplate on the front pastedown. There is also an additional previous owner bookplate on the front endpaper. Mylar has been custom cut to protect the binding. (Nevins I, 136). Very Good binding.
