Aqua coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Green coloured tint to the top text edge. Illustrated dustwrapper with green and white coloured titles to the front panel and green coloured titles to the back strip. First published in 1952, this work was the standard for how a helicopter stays in the air. A little rubbing of the book corners and softening of the back strip edges; minor bumping of the top book corners. Age toning of the text block edges and pages. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Minor chipping of the top dustwrapper corners and back strip edge. Some creasing to the top dustwrapper edge with a couple of small tears. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with fading of the back strip. Third Printing. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Blue cloth lettered in gilt to spine on black panel, and dustjacket with line illustration to front. Blue tinted top page edges. 343pp. With some b&w photos and line drawings in the text at start, otherwise many line diagrams in the text throughout, as well as mathematical equations. Very Good book in Very Good jacket, now in clear removable sleeve. Clean covers and pages, with light foxing spots to closed paged edges. Jacket has wear to edges with abrasions and small tears, clean apart from light marks to back.Pictures available.
