A collection of Prairie Indian folktales as retold by the author. The basic theme is the sacred Indian life on the great western prairies of the United States, before it was swept with the destructive fires of change. The stories are for children of all ages. A nice copy.

Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Schellbach, Louis (illustrateur). Navy blue cloth covers have a slight curl. Gold lettering on spine is bright. Light shelf wear to hinge of back cover. Foxing on inside front and back cover hinges. Text is clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Details what the prairie was like before it was swept by t he destructive Fires of Change. Stories on Mother Earth, The Tribes of Men, Four-footed Tribes and Tribes of the Air. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-lib unless explicitly described as such.
