Pop-up parts have heavy wear, with tears or missing pieces; some may not pop up. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Many dog-eared corners. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Slight colouring in of pastedowns. Boards have heavy edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with splits and slightly exposed netting. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Slight pen marks to rear.

With 3 coloured attractive double page pop ups relating to the stories in the book i.e. The Mouse ran up the Clock, Little Jack Horner, Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle. Hoof of rear legs of cow in last pop up creased with tiny loss to one hoof. Else the pop ups are excellent. The corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Upper and lower spine edges are little frail. Unfortunately lacking spine. Else good.

Paper heavily peeling with some loss to spine.

In very good colour thick card boards, with image from 'Curly Locks, Curly Locks' to front and 'Mistress Mary Quite Contrary' to rear, with green cloth spine. The covers are very tight and square and quite clean. "The Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative Bindery Team" have inserted new book cloth spine; tidied up the edge by spine. Unmarked end papers; dedication on front paste down. Lightly tanned cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, straight and with very clean pages. With b/w illustrations on most pages and three double page colour pop-ups: See Saw Margery Daw; Mary Had A Little Lamb and Ring-a-Ring o' Roses. "The Bindery Team" have repaired the first one and reinforced with a small Japanese tissue patch. Not paginated.
