Lastly there is a tabular report of brightness variations for a seriesof approx. 70 stars. A few b/w photographs and diagrams assist text; also some tabular data. Cond : Paper wrapper is light green with black lettering. Only graphic is the RASC logo. Staples tight, minimal soiling. No names, marks,creases, nor tears. Collectible !! Quote (p. 85) : " ._._. and a dark room. In the dome room it is expected that three instruments will be mounted on one polar axis, a 15-inch Cassegrain reflector, a 6-inch Catadioptic guide telescope, and a 3-inch astrograph. Original engraving armorial bookplate (96x 130mm), (c-1920's), fine condition. John Barclay Godson (1882 - 1957) was an English born artist, worked in Australia from 1914 mostly doing Etchings, Engravings, Linocuts, woodcuts, and Wood-engravings. Sir Alfred Charles Davidson (1882-1952) was an eminent NSW banker.
