Hinges cracking, spine labels chipped, dents in fore-edges and corners a little worn. Correctly given, from copies used in the theatres, by Thomas Dibdin, Author of several Dramatic Pieces; and Prompter of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Hardcover. Etat : Very Good (Minus). No Jacket. First Thus. London: John Bell, British Library, 1791. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy from John Bell's compilation of British Theatre. First Edition Thus. Full leather binding; spine has ruling and titling in gilt on black labels. The plays included are "She Stoops to Conquer" by Oliver Goldsmith, "The Orphan" by Thomas Otway, "Cato" by Joseph Addison, and "Boadicia" by Mr. Glover. Internally this book is in excellent condition, with a clean and clear text; externally, the front cover is cracked at the spine; the foot of the spine has suffered a 1-1/4" loss; rubbed at the margins. While not the prettiest, the book remains sound, and would be an excellent candidate for a nice rebind. First Thus. Full-Leather. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Full-Leather. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. 74 gilt edged pages + 2 page 'Epilogue spoken by Mrs Bulkley'. Unmarked throughout and bright, clean interior. The front endpapers have split halfway but the binding is tight. The tan calf cover is in excellent conditiion with bright gilt decorative border to inside of front and rear boards. Bright gilt decorative banded spine. 'Price 1s 6d' is printed on half title page.
