Etat : Good. 1st Edition. 4to, pp. 360, elaborately blind decorated brown cloth, gilt lettering to spine, rubbed, corners bumped, a 3" split at top rear of spine, top pulled, interior with reinforced hinge at front end papers, foxing throughout but particularly at opening and closing pages, contains all illustrations including two coloured, and four 19th century bromide prints of the cathedral loosely inserted, binding sound. A heavy book which will attract extra postage so please contact us before ordering. Rare.

Hardcover. Etat : Good. [vi], 486, 26 pages. With folding map, 9 plates, engraved additional title page and a pedigree. Complete as described in Upcott pages 1421-2. In the original paper covered boards and paper spine. Printed label to the spine. Boards are worn, with the loss of some of the paper. Spine is creased and has tears with loss, an additional handwritten label has been added to the head of the spine, this has a section missing also. Spotting to the plates throughout. Page edges untrimmed and with occasional tears. Lower outer corner of the front free end paper is torn away. Book.
