Soft Cover. Etat : Very Good binding. A mimeographed "Confidential Advance Copy" of Terasaki's memoir bound by the publisher in grey cardstock backed in cloth, and with a typed pastedown label. Gwen Harold's narration of her marriage to a Japanese diplomat, "Terry" Terisaki, who was at the Japanese Embassy in Washington at the time of Pearl Harbor and helped to translate the Japanese declaration of war. He and his family were interned during the war; in 1945 he became the liaison between the Emperor of Japan and General MacArthur. MGM made the memoir into a movie in 1961, starring Carroll Baker and James Shigeta. Very Good binding.
