Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. This is a charming antique nature guide which includes four colour plates and 79 further illustrations mostly photographs taken by the author as well as numerous in text illustrations. The book is good condition. The binding is tight and there are no loose or missing pages. Internally there are no reader marks bar a neat owner's name inscription. There is significant foxing to some of the pages which can be seen in the photos. A particular feature is the dustjacket which is protected in mylar. It is generally good. There is some loss to the top of the spine and the top front corner. The spine is a little faded. The boards are pictorial green cloth and in very good condition. All in all this is a lovely vintage nature book which would make a nice addition to any natural history collection or an attractive decorative book in a vintage home. There are many more books like this in the shop.
