Glazed paper boards and cloth spine, the boards handled, the front hinge shows stringing at gutter, page 288/9 has a piece torn from edge with some text loss, front bottom corner worn with a little surface loss to image, back board advertising "Bird's" Custard has darkened with age and corners worn also with surface loss. Contents clean and tight, no splits at spine. Small annual size. Royal octavo.

There is also a full page b/w ill. by Wain and one by Rackham plus many other loveley illustrations. Two stories run throughout "The Girls of St Olave's" by mabel Macintosh an "Keeping his secret" by Charles Herbert. A clean tight copy. Extra postage will be requested for overseas.
