Offset on page 17 from contemporary news article (now in mylar to prevent further staining). Half-inch tear on title page. Light discoloration to boards, including some very very small stains on the front board - otherwise very good. Due Bose Hayward's first book -- he would later write 'Porgy', which the folk opera 'Porgy and Bess' was based on. Hervey Allen is best known for his novel 'Anthony Adverse'. Signed by Author.
