Still avery bright Dustjacket (happy to send scan) as it looks much better than the description dictates. Book itself is in almost fine condition and would make a great addition to your collection.

Commencing in 1841, the year that the Prussian King, Frederick William IV, adopted Nikolaus V. Dreyse's Zundnadelgehr (needle gun), this book follows all the various types of weapons used in the years between then and 1918. The artillery section treats the varied types of Field Artillery weapons as used throughout World War, 1914-1918, trench mortar artillery, grenades with detailed information as to loads, ranges, etc. The uniform section deals with the diverse uniforms as worn by the various Contingents of the German Armies from 1856 through the new Field Uniform adopted for use by all troops in 1915. Illustrated are insignia of grade, weapib proficiency, helmets and shakos, body armour, swords, bayonets and various items of accountrements.
